gBook

Gbook is a small guestbook based on PHP and a XML file to store the entries in. If you know CSS you can change the whole guestbook to your own wishes. The only thing I ask you is to respect the credit line at the bottom of the guestbook.

Install

- First of all you need a server running Apache and PHP.
- You'll need a FTP client to tranfser your files to the server.

1] Copy the gbook dir to your webserver.
2] Open the config file (gbook.config.php) within the gbook dir.
3] Change the admin data to whatever you like.
4] chmod the gbook.content.xml to 777 (read and write permissions on)

If you change the dir name to "gb" for instance you'll need to open the captcha.php and change the path to the font too!. If you forget this the captcha won't show a picture.
